"Classic Horror" (Art): My name is Juda Suarez and I submitted my artwork in hopes of improving my artwork. I have a simple goal to improve my artistic skills while also drawing from horror, which I absolutely love. I want to work towards this goal to become a professional artist in the animation industry and to produce amazing pieces of fiction.
"A Eulogy" (poetry) - Zoe Byron: I’m a sophomore at Oakdale High School, and I hope to study poetry and screenwriting in college. I’m on my school’s varsity tennis team, play the clarinet in the marching band, and am president of the student-run art journal at my school. I also love cats and musical theater, but not the musical Cats.
"Under The Harvest Moon" (poetry): My name is Alyssa Montgomery. I am currently 17 years old and attend Turlock High School. During my free time I like watching movies, taking photos and drawing, which is why my future goal is to become an artist. I really enjoy any form of art both written and visually, especially when they are able to invoke emotions within people. My favorite artists and their pieces are Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night Above the Rhône” and Claude Monet’s “The Artist’s Garden at Giverny” while my favorite poet is Edgar Allen Poe and his piece, “Annabel Lee.”
"A Farmer’s Hands" (poetry) - Rosepreet Sandhu: I’m a 15-year-old sophomore at Pitman High School. What inspired me to write this poem is my family. My family is in the farming industry and I’ve grown up seeing the beauty of farming in the Central Valley. Farming is a huge part of our community and it’s a huge part of me.
"A Place Beneath the Trees" (poetry): Hi! My name is Leah Armstrong , and I'm currently a sophomore in high school. My goals would be to either be an actress in a superhero movie, or maybe be a marriage counselor, we'll see how things work out. As for my interests, I like lots of things! Though for me, reading and drawing are my main ones, since they're a really good escape when I'm feeling upset or overwhelmed.
"The Falling Leaves Were Falling Tears" (poetry): Vangogh Tran is a fourteen-year-old freshman at Pitman High School in Turlock, California. A prospective writer, he also hopes to become an English professor, focused on Asian American literature. Learning languages (so far French, Swedish, and Vietnamese), reading wherever he can (usually on his bed), and working on a debut novel (currently drafting) are among his interests.
"Autumn’s Thanksgiving" (fiction) - Khlood Aleshmali: I'm 15 years old and attend Gregori High School. My future goals are attending and graduating college while my interests are writing stories and drawing :)
"October Skies" (poetry): I’m Harvey Keene, I’m 14 years old, and I’m a sophomore at Gregori High School. My hope is to go into a science in college, and to publish the video game that me and my friend have been making for a while now.

"The Crushed Spirit Should be Saved" (art) - Elizabeth Hollcraft: I’m sixteen and I go to Turlock High School. I have been drawing since I was little and I have recently learned how much I love to draw with pen. I try to expand my artistic and creative abilities as much as I possibly can. I don’t have any particular art style of my own, but I love to explore different ones all the time.
